Costume Design

Kinetika has over 15 years of experience in designing costumes for large-scale outdoor performance and events internationally. Recent projects include costume design for dance sections in the opening ceremonies for the Rugby League World Cup 2013, as well as Diwali-inspired costumes for the launch event of the London Designer Outlet 2013 and 2014.

Internationally Kinetika has worked on various large-scale costume design commissions including the Beijing Youth Olympics in 2007 (China), FIFA World Cup Opening and Closing Ceremonies in 2009 (Abu Dhabi), Atlanta Olympics (USA) and Kolkata Carnival (India).

Other projects have included Din Shuru (2003), Yemanja, Roads to Freedom, Tiger Out East, Hackney One Carnival, Ti-Jean, and costumes for the unveiling of Nelson Mandela’s statue in Parliament square.
